About the event
Join us for a beginner-friendly handbuilding workshop inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains. In this class, you’ll create a pair of simple mountain-shaped holders that can be used for napkins, kitchen sponges, or small items around your home. No clay experience is needed. We’ll guide you step by step as you shape your pieces and decorate them with underglaze in any colors or designs you like.

Workshop Details
● Date & Time: Saturday, May 2nd 1-3pm
● Skill Level: Beginner friendly. No experience required.
● Project: Each participant will create two mountain-shaped holders that can be used as napkin holders, sponge holders, or small organizers.
Firing & Finishing
● Decoration: Students will paint their pieces with underglaze during the workshop.
● Firing: Firebrick Pottery will clear glaze and kiln fire each piece.
● Pick-up: Finished work will be ready for pickup about 3–4 weeks after the workshop.
