About the event
Join instructor Don Shuler for a wheel-throwing workshop focused on creating closed form lanterns. This class is designed for intermediate potters who are comfortable centering and throwing basic forms on the wheel. Participants will have time to practice these techniques and develop their own pieces during the workshop.
Workshop Details
● November 21st: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM - Demonstrations and guided throwing.
● November 22nd: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM - Trimming and Carving.
● Skill Level: Intermediate (Must have basic wheel throwing experience)
● Materials: Stoneware clay will be provided
Firing & Finishing
● Pick-up: Potters are welcome to pick up their work after the bisque firing for glazing.
● Optional Glazing: Participants who would like to glaze their pieces may choose from our studio glazes.
